My first Indian Restaurant experience and I’m so glad it was here! There was a buffet option, and the menu had a lot of variety and very reasonable prices. I had the Paneer Rogan Josh and it was amazing! The environment was welcoming and the staff were very helpful. A great overall experience and will definitely be back to try more!

The food was good. I had the buffet - black lentils, rice, spinach cream and cottage cheese, samosa, fried rice, and chicken. Mild flavors. No overwhelming seasonings. I would recommend for delicious Indian food. Bonus is the free Mango ice cream cones. I visited on a Saturday around noon.

We have occasionally visited this Indian spot for years now. The food is amazing and the aroma is tremendously good. Prices are a tiny bit higher than we are used to but the food is truly worth every penny. Next visit we are taking our 7 year old. He is looking forward to trying all of the amazing Indian flavors.

I come during lunch and it's busy, but a place to sit. You get seated and they take your drink order. They'll bring you a tall decanter of water, a glass of ice with a lime wedge. A plate of naan bread, Also the drink you requested. And you are free to pick up a plate and serve yourself from the buffet. The food is delicious and no overwhelming saltiness, or spiciness, or other common chef errors...

Just left after having their dinner menu. Had a fantastic experience. Was sat very quickly and service was exceptionally fast. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful, when addressing food allergy concerns. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. Everything tasted great and our cups were never left empty and we never had a shortage of naan. The owner stopped by to make sure our experience was great and gave us a little background on this place. Will 100% be back. This place deserves a higher rating!

Do not sleep on this place. If you like Indian food, this place is a gem. It's clean, food is fresh on the buffet. It makes it easy to introduce yourself to Indian cuisine if your unfamiliar and try something new. This Taj mahal beer was also very good. Go check it out. I will definitely return.

Great place for lunch buffet. The kheema matar is good choice (minced mutton with peas) they buffet is decent around 16$ during weekdays.
They have a good wine and beer selection as well. I would recommend folks to try a little of all the items first and then settle on what they like. The naan and roti are served on the table by request. The service is quick. The place can be crowded at times, so best to be there by 1 and close the lunch by 2/2.15 as they close by 2.30.

My boyfriend and I were craving Indian food and this place was the closest that came up in our search from Conroe.
Let me just say this place is amazing!! We opted for the buffet and it did not disappoint. Incredible selection of fresh food and they brought us hot fresh naan from the kitchen. The food had a nice level of spice to it too. Not too spicy and not bland.

The food was absolutely wonderful. Robust and flavorful. I had the Rogan Josh with goat meat and a side of Garlic Nan and potato cakes for a starter. Taste the same as the wonderful Indian dishes I have had in the Middle East.

My brother is visiting from out of town and he requested to try Indian food for the first time. I picked Sitar Cuisine based off the amazing reviews, and we were not disappointed! The staff is extremely friendly, and the establishment is clean and cozy. There are so many yummy food options to choose from! We did the buffet and loved every minute of it. We will definitely be returning with the whole family next time!

Had a great visit to Sitar for lunch on a Saturday. Took the whole family including my elementary age sons. Everyone loved the food! Every dish was prepared well and tasty. I believe Sitar does a good job keeping the food spicy with Indian flavors but not too hot from the spices. I would call the spice heat mild to medium. I knew it was there but my kids also ate it with no trouble. We particularly enjoyed the naan, ground lamb, meatball masala, yellow daal, and saag paneer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during our visit. To end everything the mango ice cream was fantastic and mixing it with the rice pudding which contained cinnamon made a delicious combination.

Sitar was really good. We first visited after pandemic and were a little nervous still about buffet eating, but the staff served each person and masks and social distancing was still observed. I have since gone twice and the food was just as delicious each time. The service was good and the place was pretty busy. We will definitely eat there again when we want Indian. I highly recommend this place.
